Retail: What to expect at ISE 2023

The use of AV technology to attract customers, ease their buying experience and encourage them to return is prevalent across the retail landscape, from high-end concept stores and malls to supermarkets and independent retailers. A successful installation requires an integrated AV system, with multiple solutions working together to create something special. All of the elements required to achieve this can be found on the ISE 2023 show floor.

Those interested in retail AV should certainly head to Hall 6, where the very latest in digital signage hardware and software will be on show, offering innovative ways to attract customers and encourage them to engage with a brand.

For example, nsign will be demonstrating the power of smart digital signage using nsing.tv, its cloud-based platform that enables customer engagement and unique in-store experiences all in a simple-to-use format.

Advantech hardware solutions have powered thousands of digital signage applications across retail, hospitality and food service. Its cloud-based business intelligence platform also gathers data to help retailers optimise sales strategies and daily operation.

In Hall 2, Dynascan will be showcasing its extensive range of professional indoor and outdoor high-brightness displays designed for direct-sunlight applications such as retail windows, menu boards and outdoor kiosks.

Also offering displays for retail, Sharp NEC has one of the broadest visual solutions portfolios in the industry, innovating in LCD displays, lamp and laser projectors, dvLED, 8K technology and IoT- and AI-driven analytics.

Clevertouch delivers solutions designed to elevate the customer experience, including interactive display products that encourage customers to engage with retailers’ branding and products. A user-friendly cloud management platform makes it quick to distribute messages across any number of locations and can be used for corporate internal communications as well as in-store.

Of course, the ultimate retail experience isn’t just about the visual side of AV, and manufacturers will also be demonstrating professional audio systems to set the mood and keep customers safe and informed.

In Hall 2, Bose will be showing its installed commercial sound systems, including loudspeakers that blend in with any décor, amps and audio processors. Bose Modeler software also ensures even coverage regardless of the size or shape of the store or shopping centre.

More audio solutions will also be found in Hall 7’s Audio Zone, where Barix will be highlighting its RetailPlayer platform for multichannel streaming of background music among many others.
